A company's culture is the glue that binds an organization and its employees.
Since I started at EverQuote almost two years ago, the one, unanimous thing I have heard from other employees is EverQuote’s people and culture make the company. And given my own experiences, I would say the same.
EverQuote is filled with talented, intelligent individuals who not only care about their work, but care about one another. We also have built a terrific culture where our company values matter.

Opportunities for Growth
We also provide our employees with tremendous opportunities to tap into their creativity. We host multiple events throughout the year dedicated to innovation so our employees have the time to innovate without feeling like they are missing work.
In the spirit of innovation, our Innovation Week takes place quarterly where employees have dedicated time and space to work on projects they choose to work on, some of which have been implemented within our company!
Similar to Innovation Week, we also have Ship It Day, EverQuote’s 24 hour hack-a-thon, innovation, and project day. Teams are formed across the business to work on a “deliverable” with impact to the business.
No project or idea is out of scope for Ship-It Day, and the key goals are to innovate, ideate, come together, and have fun! We believe giving our employees the bandwidth to create and explore their ideas is essential to their success as employees.
Our Mascot is a Goat!
One special thing about EverQuote many people may not know is our mascot is a goat. It defines who we are and what we aspire to be. Goats represent our resilience, grit, and tenacity in the face of challenge. The goat as our mascot inspires us to be the best versions of ourselves we can be and to face challenges head on.
Our mascot was originally thought of by our late CEO, Seth Birnbaum and Chief Architect and co-founder Tomas Revesz.
We strive to give employees the resources they need to be successful. We have seven, fantastic Employee Resource Groups that allow our employees to connect with like-minded individuals and meet employees outside of their own, individual teams.
We also have partnerships with tools such as Headspace, an app our employees have free access to to use when they need to destress or decompress.
We also believe in the benefit of time-off. We have a generous, open PTO policy to ensure our employees are able to take time off when they need it most, whether that be to avoid burnout or so they can go on their dream vacation.
